Six months of internship at NOBS Tattoo Club in Turin: a kiosk, a 3D thank-you page and 3D renders for the One club. One client, three disciplines, growing trust.
The context
A six-month internship as a UI/UX designer at NOBS Tattoo Club, in central Turin. The brief kept growing. What started as a screen at the entrance became the club's whole digital presence.
The kiosk
A shoulder height touch screen at the entrance. The hardware was already installed; the content was a handful of old pages nobody loved. Through a co-design process with Alice Bava, my counterpart at NOBS, we decided what actually earned its place on that screen. Then paper sketches, Figma, and finally Framer, chosen so non-technical people could edit content without calling me.
Near-zero-cost engineering
No custom domain: an optimized local setup, dedicated shortcuts opening the interface in fullscreen, and a custom Chrome extension handling refresh and return to home after inactivity. Maximum impact, near zero cost.
The 3D thank-you
After every purchase on the NOBS store, customers get a tiny 3D thank-you built in Three.js. Personalization without a CMS. Add a name to the URL, /?name=paolo, and the thank-you becomes yours.
NOBS inside the One club
The third deliverable was a set of 3D renders with custom type visualizing the NOBS barber corner inside the One club. Modeled and rendered in Blender.

The kiosk gets used about 10 times a day by the crew of 7-10 artists and the first ambassador. Vanni, the owner, is enthusiastic enough that he would love to replicate the idea for NOBS Barber Club.
Approach & craft
All development was mine, across the three deliverables: the kiosk built in Framer with a custom Chrome extension, the Three.js thank-you page, and the 3D renders for the One club. The kiosk's design was a co-design with Alice Bava, my counterpart at NOBS and the client's voice inside the process.
The outcome
- Three deliverables shipped for one real client: UI, web and 3D
- Kiosk in daily use: ~10 interactions a day
- Built and shipped at near zero cost
- True to the NOBS tone of voice, down to the type
