Five years of computer science at a technical high school, then three years working in IT as a web developer and UI/UX designer. I learned code before I learned the grid. Die-hard videogamer. Put a problem in front of me and I work it out myself.
This is the side I'm working on right now. I'm reading Norman's Emotional Design and applying it to what I build. I want to put back into digital products the emotion the screen takes away. The animated ending of the Match page is the first experiment.
Design is not art. It is the discipline that solves problems, and what you see is only the last step of a process. My style is what I call
bold minimalism.
